Hey backers,

Thanks to those who have swiftly completed your pledge confirmations! We've been getting a few questions, so we thought we'd answer the most frequently asked questions here:

I haven't got my pledge confirmation email yet - what do I do? Head to https://vldl-great-expansion.backerkit.com/, type in the email address you pledged on Kickstarter with, and it should bring up your personalised pledge confirmation

How long do I have to complete my pledge confirmation? The pledge confirmations will be open for at least 6 weeks (approximately until the end of June) - so you do have time, just don't forget about it!

What am I allowed to write on the mural wall?  As mentioned throughout the campaign, you can request either your name or your gamertag, with a 30 character limit for people with long names. It's 'fine' if you've already put your gamertag in the middle of your name. Definitely not what we intended - but if you really want to keep it that way it's all good. Just bear in mind we have 12,000 names to write by hand - so we're going to LOVE the short ones ;)

When will the behind-the-scenes access + digital wallpapers be coming? The behind-the-scenes access will be accessible in the next few days. We will post an update with instructions on how to access them, so keep an eye out! The digital wallpapers will be in your email inbox in August/September 2022.

I've already done my pledge confirmation, but I forgot to choose add-ons; how do I do that? You can head to the late pledge page http://vldlkickstarter.com and purchase the add-ons under a separate transaction. 

Can I edit my pledge confirmation once it's been completed? No, once it's completed you cannot edit it.

Who can I contact if I have any questions or issues? There are a few options - you can message us here directly through Kickstarter, comment on Kickstarter, comment on an update, or contact Backerkit at [email protected] 

I used my Apple ID email address to originally pledge on Kickstarter, how can I change it? Contact us (as above) and we can change that for you.

Why do I have a shipping cost on my pledge? As mentioned in the initial campaign, anyone receiving physical rewards is required to pay the shipping to receive them. This means anyone $100+ will have shipping cost to cover the Power coin, stickers, t-shirt, poster etc. Add-ons also have a shipping cost attached to them.

When will the physical rewards be sent? March 2023. We're so excited to send these out!

Hello Adventurers! 

Thanks for your patience while we've been sending these Pledge Confirmation emails out - we appreciate your eagerness to get it all signed, sealed & delivered!

By now, everyone should have received your Pledge Confirmation email and a reminder that it is mandatory to fill out, no matter what your pledge level is. 

Note FOR APPLE ID EMAILS: if you pledged on Kickstarter using an Apple ID email address you'll find your Pledge Confirmation through a Kickstarter message, since we can’t access your email address.  If you would like to retrieve it manually before then, head to https://vldl-great-expansion.backerkit.com

To clarify, the Pledge Confirmation is for:

• Confirming your pledge, or upgrading it! 
• Telling us what you'd like on the mural wall ($100+),  confirming your tshirt size ($250+), telling us your video message request ($500+) etc...
• Opportunity to purchase one of the four exclusive add-ons - mug, Azerim map, face pins, digitally signed postcards
• Confirming your shipping address for physical rewards - remember that everyone $100+ will have a shipping fee for their Power Coin + sticker set

Note: If you want to upgrade from $1 to $50, you can do this by choosing the $49 add-on for behind-the-scenes access. Or if you're keen to upgrade $100+, you can do this at the first step of the pledge confirmation process 

Rewards that will come separately (and later) are:

• access link to Digital Wallpapers ($15+)
• access link to behind-the-scenes videos ($50+)
• exclusive Discord channel access ($100+)

Please note: the mural wall requests can be EITHER your gamertag OR your name - if you write both, only the first one will be written.

What happens if you didn't receive your Pledge Confirmation email?

• Click this link here: https://vldl-great-expansion.backerkit.com/ 
• Enter the email address you used on Kickstarter, and it'll link to your Pledge Confirmation

Please complete the Pledge Confirmation in a timely manner - reminder emails will be sent out over the next month.

Delay on SOME Pledge Confirmations - don't panic :)

Hey everyone,

Pledge confirmation emails have begun sending and some of you have already completed yours - thank you!

However, we've had some unforeseen issues come up, which means some of you will be waiting a little longer than we thought to receive your email. But don't worry, it's coming.

Please allow another 48 hours for your email if you haven't received it yet! 

A reminder that it's mandatory to complete this, even if you didn't get any physical rewards.

Pledge Confirmations - what to expect

Hey backers,

Your pledge confirmations will be with you early this coming week - they will be sent out over the course of 9 hours, so don't stress if you hear your friends have theirs before you do!

When the pledge confirmation emails are sent out, please complete it in a timely manner as we require this information to complete the Kickstarter process. If you don't fill it out, you won't receive your rewards.

In the meantime, take a look at what the pledge confirmation process looks like!

Firstly, you will receive an email in your inbox to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account.

• The first screen you'll be taken to will look like this:

Your Kickstarter pledge will automatically come up, and this is where you tell us your country, and you will also have the opportunity to upgrade your pledge! You'll see your current pledge at the top and then options to upgrade to others below - see image: 

If you'd like to go ahead and stay at your current level, just click the green 'get started' button above.

• Next, you will answer questions related to your pledge level (if applicable). 

For example, if you're a $100+ backer you'll let us know which name/gamertag you'd like on the mural wall: 

And if you're a $250+ backer, you'll also be asked what size you'd like your Great Expansion T-shirt to be:

• Once you've answered your pledge-level specific questions, you'll be taken to the Add-Ons page (wooohoooo!). This is where you get to choose any Add-Ons you'd like - remember these are limited edition and completely exclusive to Kickstarter so now is your only chance to get your hands on these:

• The next step is shipping - remember shipping is an added cost and will be calculated at the end. It's super important you give us the correct address so you can receive your physical rewards!

• The final step will show the total of your shipping + add-ons and this is where you will pay:

Important Note: Your pledge will be locked and charged when you click 'Place Order' on the final review page. Please make sure your order details are final as you will not have access to edit the products or payment method after submitting. But you can edit the shipping address until the addresses are locked closer to shipping.

Once you've filled this out, your work here is done! And we can fulfil your rewards :) 

Remember, we require this information to complete the Kickstarter process, so this pledge confirmation is mandatory. If you don't fill it out, you won't receive your rewards.
